Everywhere in New Zealand, there is always an adventure and unique experiences waiting for you.
Kia ora everyone! There is no doubt that New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Across the incredible Aotearoa, you can find everything from kind people and rich culture to natural wonders. I have been personally wanting to visit this stunning place for a long time, and finally, it happened this year!
If you need guidance for the New Zealand visitor e-visa application so you can set foot in this paradise of a country, then you have come to the right place!
Note: This guide is for the e-visa application, which is faster and cheaper to apply for.
What are the steps?
1. To access New Zealand’s visa service, you need a RealMe account. It’s free and easy to sign up.
2. Fill out the application form on the website as honestly as possible.
3. When done answering the form, you will be asked to pay.
What are the supporting documents needed?
You will also be required to upload the supporting documents through the site, such as:
1. Scan of your passport details page
2. Scan of your E-Pass / S-Pass
3. Certificate of Employment
4. Itinerary (flights and hotel bookings)
5. Recent bank statement
6. Scan of your recent photo (must be less than 6 months old)
How much is the New Zealand visitor e-Visa?
The amount I paid was only SGD 35.00.
How long does it take to get the result?
I applied on a Friday, and to my surprise, I immediately got the approval on Monday the following week! So it could be as fast as one working day if you’ve uploaded all the needed requirements.
How long is the validity of the visa?
The validity of my e-visa is for one year. I’m not very sure if this is the minimum for every application, but I guess it also depends on the requirements you have submitted (passport validity, E-Pass/S-Pass validity, to name a few).
New Zealand visitor e-Visa: The process at the airport
It was a breezy process leaving Singapore and arriving in New Zealand with the e-visa. I was not even asked to present the PDF copy, so it was pretty much like travelling to any visa-free countries for Filipinos.
Hope you found this guide helpful, and all the best with your New Zealand visitor e-visa application! Watch out for more posts about my recent trip there for my birthday. 🙂
