Gin Jubilee 2017 closing ceremony was a success as gin novices and enthusiasts try out diverse array of G&T concoctions.
The East Imperial Gin Jubilee aims to boost gin knowledge and appreciation across multiple venues where people come together to sample innovative variations of the classic Gin & Tonic, paired with the versatile East Imperial tonic.
The event started at 6PM, but me and my friend Hana didn’t arrive until 8PM. We had dinner first before the anticipated serious drinking! When we got there, the venue was already crowded as expected, and we instantly saw a lot of familiar faces. Great music played in the background as the night went on, and we bumped into more friends which made the night more fun!
The winner of Asia’s Best Gin & Tonic was “High Five” by David Kim from the Chihuly Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia. Congratulations not just to them, but to everyone who participated and made this event possible!
