East Imperial Gin Jubilee is an annual celebration of all things gin that is enjoyed by gin aficionados and novices.
Gin lovers in Singapore, celebrate! After successful jubilees in Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, Hong Kong and Shanghai, the East Imperial Gin Jubilee returns to its home ground, Singapore for a series of events and masterclasses that will continue until the 3rd of December, 2017. This is a collaboration between leading craft spirits distributor Proof & Company and East Imperial, as well as the flourishing local bar scene in the Little Red Dot.
Gin Lane closing party

Concluding the week-long festivities is of course the iconic Gin Lane closing party! It will be held at the alleyway behind Amoy Street where pop-up bars will be set up for party-goers to try out the diverse variety of participating bars’ Gin & Tonic creations, while dancing along to the exclusive Jubilee playlist by music collective Mustard Music.
“Singapore is a fine drinking capital of the world, with internationally acclaimed bars and bartenders. We’re thrilled to be hosting the Singapore East Imperial Gin Jubilee for the fifth time this year, with a record number of participating bars,” says Zdenek Kastanek, General Manager of Proof & Company Singapore, the local event organiser for the Singapore festival. “Festival-goers will have the opportunity to try out a creative and diverse array of Gin & Tonic concoctions and we are excited for imbibers to experience this year’s festivities,” he adds.

Looks like a lovely festival to bond over their favourite drink! It is quite interesting to know that there is a whole festival dedicated to Gin! 🙂 I didnt know that Singapore is the drinking capital of the world!!
Must be such a wonderful experience for the fans. And the concept looks really interesting. Making it into a celebration for the people who would love some gin along with partying 🙂
I did not know there was a gin appreciation society. I see the way its marketed, which is around a sophistication (masterclass), while beer is more boozy and noisy with people opening up. The point of alcohol is to make people open up and tell tales and feel lighter. I love listening to drunk people, as I dont drink. But your post makes me feel that gin lovers may not open up much, since its a very sophisticated event. Is my observation correct?
A national festival dedicated to Gin sounds quite intriguing. I m not surprised that I dont know much about it as I m a teetotaller. I m sure the energy would be high in such events.
The East Imperial Gin Jubilee celebrations in Singapore seems to be a rocking affair. I am sure it promises a heady experience to Gin aficionados. Never knew that there was a festival dedicated to Gin.
Not a huge fan of gin but I know that it would be fun visiting here just for the vibes. It really looks like people take it seriously in Singapore. Did not realize that Gin is huge there.
I have never tasted gin. It’s interesting to know that there
is an entire festival around it. I would love to participate in this unique
festival. The vibes seem so cheerful and happy go lucky. Singapore sure knows
how to do things in a classy way!
