Looking for feline fun in Bangkok? Caturday Cat Café in Bangkok is the purr-fect spot to hang out with furry friends.
One hot afternoon in Bangkok, I decided to check out Caturday Cat Café after window shopping at Siam Paragon. With the help of Google Maps, I made the questionable decision to walk from the mall to the café. What was supposed to be a 15-minute stroll felt endless under the scorching heat. Learn from my mistake – it’s much easier to take the BTS Skytrain and get off at Ratchathewi Station.

Arriving at Caturday Cat Cafe

Tucked away from the main road, the café entrance welcomes you with a wall of adorable photos of past visitors posing with the resident cats. In true Asian fashion, guests remove their shoes at the door – and before heading inside, everyone washes their hands. It’s a small but reassuring detail that highlights how seriously the café treats the cats’ wellbeing.

The café charges a ฿200 entrance fee, which you can use towards food and drinks. Cat treats are also available on the menu and are paid for separately. On busier days, visits are limited to 1.5 hours. Inside the air-conditioned space, Renaissance-style paintings line the walls, reimagined with cats as the stars. Additionally, cat perches and cosy nooks let the cats climb and lounge overhead.
My Caturday Cat Cafe Experience

The cats roam freely around the space – some playing, some lounging, others casually ignoring humans. Visitors are advised not to pick up the cats abruptly and instead let them approach on their own terms. I settled onto a floor cushion and ordered an iced chocolate drink to cool down. Soon enough, the cats began coming over, clearly curious about the newcomer.

I petted them gently, reading their cues to see if they wanted more attention. Some wandered off, as cats do, while others happily settled in for extra rubs. To complete the experience, I ordered cat treats and shared them with these furry little charmers. Those sweet, playful moments made the visit to the café totally worth it.
Finally, Caturday’s staff were friendly and attentive, striking a nice balance without being intrusive. Before leaving, I even got help from them to take a photo with one of their cats as a cute little souvenir.
Conclusion: Caturday Cat Cafe is worth a visit
Overall, I think a stop at Caturday Cat Cafe would be a lovely addition to your Bangkok itinerary if you’re a cat lover with some time to spare. It’s an affordable, cozy escape from the city’s hustle – and one filled with good vibes. Watch my Bangkok vlog to see these adorable cats in action.
